4. Context of the organization

                                A. Business context and expectations of interested parties

                                ARTS Solutions GmbH is integrated into the long-term strategic direction of the ARTS Group. This is used to make a decision on the direction of ARTS Solutions GmbH within the ARTS Group and in the market environment as part of the medium and long-term strategy development. The current strategy for this is here to find.

                                This strategy is based on regular market observation, analysis of the most important internal and external factors and separate analyzes before central strategic decisions (e.g. through master's theses). Documents for this are here to find.

                                In addition, the management of ARTS Solutions GmbH systematically considers current developments within the organization and in the market environment and evaluates them according to their influence on the organization and according to the urgency of a reaction to these changes.

                                There is also a constant consideration of the most important interest groups in the area of ​​ARTS Solutions GmbH.

                                This view is checked annually in the management review and adjusted if necessary. 


                                B. Scope

                                Process support through Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) of production preparation, production, as well as quality assurance and support processes in manufacturing, as well as in MRO activities of aircraft. 

                                C. Scope of the QM system

                                The management system described below applies to the

                                MANAGEMENT AND ALL EMPLOYEES

                                of ARTS Solutions GmbH. It extends to the implementation of projects and business process outsourcing in the form of services on the "flying" product. These services are both on site

                                Compliance with the specifications described in the quality management system is binding for all employees and part of their duties. Externally provided processes are monitored.

                                In the company's QMS, specifications and methods are set out on the basis of the requirements of the standard and the customer with regard to:

                                • required processes and their application

                                • Sequence and interaction of the processes

                                • Necessary methods to ensure the effective execution and control of the processes (also applies to outsourced processes or subtasks)

                                • Availability of the resources and information to carry out and monitor these processes

                                • Monitoring, measuring and analyzing these internal or external processes

                                • Definition of measures to achieve the planned results as well as a constant improvement of these processes.

                                The elements of the quality management system are based on the requirements of national and international standards and regulations as well as on known customer-specific quality management requirements.


                                Authorization of third parties

                                Company access is granted to all customers and representatives of aviation authorities as well as public clients after prior registration. In addition, representatives of customers and / or regulatory agencies also receive access to the documentation of the QMS after prior registration.


                                Limits of the QM system

                                The QMH is based on the process-oriented approach of EN 9100: 2018. In detail are taken into account.

                                • EN 9100: 2018 main section 1: Quality management systems - requirements (based on ISO 9001: 2015)

                                The standard points that we have declared invalid do not affect the ability or responsibility of the organization to provide services in the field of projects and business process outsourcing. The QMS is to be used for all assignments. 

                                The following standard points are not used in our QMS / QMH according to standard point 4.3:


                                8.1.2 Configuration management 

                                As part of the projects of ARTS Solutions GmbH, customer processes are taken over by staff from ARTS Solutions GmbH. A complete integration into the QM system and the processes of the respective customer takes place. In this context, configuration management also takes place exclusively in accordance with the procedure defined by the customer. A configuration management in the product of ARTS Solutions GmbH is not possible due to the form of the provision of personnel

                                8.1.3 Product safety 

                                The service of ARTS Solutions GmbH is the implementation of customer-specific processes with staff from ARTS Solutions GmbH or ARTS Experts GmbH. A complete integration into the processes and structures of the respective customer takes place. As a result, processes to ensure product safety also take place exclusively within the framework of the requirements defined by the customer. ARTS Solutions GmbH is only active in this regard and cannot influence the form of these measures, but only ensures that they are carried out.

                                8.1.4 Prevention of counterfeit parts

                                ARTS Solutions GmbH does not select any parts itself and does not automatically incorporate them into the end product. An explicit check for counterfeit parts only takes place in accordance with the processes specified by the customer. The problem of counterfeit parts is, however, explicitly pointed out in the training of the respective project team and the employees are sensitized accordingly 

                                8.3 Development

                                ARTS Solutions GmbH only offers services in the field of project implementation for task packages. No development takes place here, but work is carried out according to the customer's specifications. As a result, no regulations are made regarding the development of products and services.

                                8.5.1.2 Validation and control of special processes

                                ARTS Solutions GmbH does not carry out any special processes or their testing as part of its QM system. If such activities are carried out, they are completely subject to the customer's QM system and ARTS Solutions GmbH only provides staff to implement these processes. 

                                8.5.2 Identification and traceability 

                                ARTS Solutions GmbH carries out the measures specified by the customer for the labeling and traceability of products. In addition, there are no measures of our own to ensure the traceability of the customer product. 

                                8.5.4 Product Preservation 

                                The implementation of product maintenance takes place exclusively in accordance with the processes and framework conditions defined by the customer. ARTS Solutions GmbH has no influence on their design.
