Release process
purpose
The release process represents the standard procedure for updating and releasing documented information. It begins with the need to revise documented information. The end of this process is marked by the availability of an updated version of the documented information.
The aim is that only verified information is published and accessible. Furthermore, the topicality of the documented information should be guaranteed.
Authorized release persons
The QMB and his deputy are authorized to check documents. The release of documents is the responsibility of the managing director or his appointed representative.
1. Update current version of a documented information

Responsibility: QMB

A revision of documented information is necessary if the specified revision date is pending or the need for an earlier revision by an employee is determined.

A new version of the documented version is created and the necessary changes are made in it. This version is marked as draft.
2. Upload updated version

Responsibility: QMB

The changed version of the documented information is uploaded to the corresponding task in odoo and the Managing director is requested to release it by means of a comment.
3. Check and release updated version

Responsibility: Managing director

The updated version of the documented information is checked and approved for general use in the company via odoo.
4. Change current version to the updated version

Responsibility: QMB

After approval, the documented information is exchanged for the updated, approved version at the appropriate point in the system.

In the case of process-relevant templates, users are informed of the change by email.

Old versions are archived for 10 years.
5. Schedule next revision

Responsibility: QMB

After approval, A new revision date is set for the documented information in the corresponding task in Odoo.
